Q: How do you divide big tasks?
To divide the tasks you must use the S.M.A.R.T. Rule. The S.M.A.R.T. Rule says that a task has to be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. So, let’s say the task is to build a hotel. Well that’s not timely, that’s not specific. It’s like this big thing,so, that’s a project, that’s not a task.
Now, on the side of projects you have S.M.A.R.T. tasks. We need to find a commercial space, ah! Yeah, that’s more specific, more measurable, so, how can we do that? Well, for example we need to find a commercial real estate broker, let’s find him first. So then, that task becomes really important to do it first and then, if you divided that big one into smaller ones with the technique that I just explained then you can re-organize them. That’s it.
